What is our Advisory Network?
Our Advisory Network is a donation-based project designed to make full use of our expertise in group moderation and deliberation to support the brainstorming and consolidation of new ideas. The goal of the network is to provide an affordable community service that supports the creative and brainstorming phases of a project. It is meant for situations where someone has an idea or issue and seeks diverse perspectives to refine, confront, or simply better understand it.
For each issue, we reach out to our network to form a tailored Advisory Group with the help of one of our moderators, to prepare a live, interactive experience with knowledgeable and interested participants. The group will include some of our internal collaborators and a number of external participants with relevant expertise.

What is the network used for?
Any request from the Collective Thought Foundation or from its collaborators and friends.
Any external requests on topics related to the Collective Thought Foundation or simply interested in experimenting with our approach.
Are you wondering whether your case would fit the scope of an Advisory Group? Then do not hesitate to contact us.
Possible scenarios:
Are you starting a new project?
Are you looking for a good research topic?
Do you need more inspiration?
Would you like to refine an argument or a speech?
Are you hesitating on a life-changing decision?
Would you benefit from talking to someone with experience?
Upon receiving your submission, we review the issue at hand and any related briefing documents. We will then select one of our moderators who will contact you if further details are needed.
Your request follows the following steps:
1. Review
2. Planning
In accordance with the requests and the relevant expertise, we reach out to our network to find a suitable meeting date with a tailored Advisory Group.
3. Meeting
4. Outcome
A two-hour, assembly-style interactive meeting is organised to give you the possibility to brainstorm, elaborate, refine, criticise or reinforce any old and new idea(s) related to your topic.
Based on the meeting discussion and our preparatory work, the outcome is a summary report that will be sent to you. Based on your experience, you can donate to the Foundation in support of the project.
